Did you ever go to that log cabin restaurant a ways out of town? Definitely far from a lake view, but soooooooooo good, and very reasonably priced.
OMG, I think we did and I had forgotten it until just now! It's been a long time since we visited Lake George and went only once. Yes, very touristy and kind of kitschy, but we loved it.
The boardwalk in Atlantic City is another favorite memory and even there I don't recall any packs of niggroes free-ranging. Good memories.
