Executive staff, most of the time, serve under the pleasure of the board of directors, or town elders, who answer to the public at large. It's as if they don't have a probationary period: it makes sense, just like here - the town leader just isn't doing its job, so why wait? Coupled with the fact that it's been there only 3 months, the town is within their full legal power to shitcan that monkey. That said, you know ugly gorilla Crump will be there.
