Two U.S. Postal Service workers were fatally shot Tuesday at a postal facility in Memphis and a third employee identified as the shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot, authorities said.

It was the third high-profile shooting in or near that west Tennessee city in weeks.

U.S. Postal Inspector Susan Link said that three postal workers were found dead after the shooting at the East Lamar Carrier Annex in a neighborhood southeast of downtown Memphis.

W*** went to a Cordova home that was reportedly occupied by the man some suspect of being the shooter. W*** is not naming him because he has not been identified by authorities.
Relatives confirmed he lived there but said he was good man who got pushed, and snapped.
“The person who did that yesterday was not who he was,” a person at the house said.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — We now know the name of the United States Postal Service worker who killed two employees before turning the gun on himself Tuesday at an Orange Mound Post Office. Family members have identified him as 28-year-old Johntra Haley.

Haley’s sister said he told family members he was being harassed at work constantly until he finally snapped. She’s now calling on USPS to make changes so this never happens again.

“Johntra, he thinks with his heart and his mind. But, that day his heart was not connected to his mind,” said Haley’s sister.
