U.S. Virgin Islands Gov. Kenneth Mapp signed an emergency order allowing the seizure of private guns, ammunition, explosives and property the National Guard may need to respond to Hurricane Irma.

So the National Guard doesn't have enough equipment? They're confiscating guns from private citizens? And property??? Why does the NG need property in the middle of a hurricane? Something is seriously wrong here.

Tucker Carlson on FOX just interviewed the mayor of the Virgin Islands, questioning this confiscation order. The mayor seemed to give very vague answers in response to Tucker's questions. I'm going to keep following this. You have guns to protect yourself in an emergency, yet here is an emergency and the government uses that as an excuse to confiscate your guns. Again, something is not right here.

That's not who I saw being interviewed by Tucker, so I'm confused. Another thing, how do the police know who has guns and who doesn't or are they just banging down everybody's doors? Don't they have better things to do in a hurricane? This whole thing is very strange.

RCMP here in Canada do that all the time. last time there was a forest fire in Alberta, they broke down doors taking people's firearms.
