Mother arrested after trying to leave children at gas station to have sex, court docs say

A mother was arrested after allegedly attempting to leave her children at a gas station while intoxicated.

A witness reported seeing Amber Adams, who appeared extremely drunk, at a gas pump where she allegedly grabbed her child by the arm and tossed him onto the ground, according to the affidavit.

Adams admitted to consuming wine and tequila and said she was unable to contact the children's father, Dariyon Weeden, to arrange a custody exchange.

She initially intended to leave her children at the gas station for the father to pick up, according to the police report.

The responding officer stated that Adams tried to leave her 4-month-old and 11-month-old kids at the gas pump so she could get some "slingy sling", according to the report.

When asked what she meant by "slingy sling" she responded she was going to someone's house to "Fuck."
