Jonathan Majors accused of strangling ex-girlfriend, defamation in new lawsuit

Jonathan Majors is being accused of strangling his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in a bombshell new lawsuit.

On Tuesday, the professional dancer filed the lawsuit in New York’s Southern District, claiming assault, defamation and battery — as she gave more examples of how her ex allegedly abused her throughout their two-year relationship from August 2021 to early 2023, per documents obtained by Rolling Stone.

Jabbari cited an alleged brutal fight from Sept. 20, 2022, claiming she suffered a head injury when the Marvel star became physically aggressive following her night out with a friend.

Per the docs obtained by the outlet, the former couple was living in London when Majors, 34, forcefully threw Jabbari, 31, on the hood of a car. “Grace began shouting for help,” the documents read. “Majors then forcefully grabbed Grace, placing her in a headlock and put his hand over her mouth to prevent someone from hearing her cries for help.”

The documents say he then allegedly brought her inside their home where he repeatedly hit her “head against the marble floor while strangling her until she felt she could no longer breathe.”
The documents further said the “Creed III” star also allegedly threatened to kill his then-girlfriend, according to Rolling Stone.
Another major incident cited in the lawsuit was from June 2022.

At the time, the duo were in Los Angeles when Majors allegedly became angry, resulting in him pinning Jabbari’s arms back and slamming her against a wall — causing another head injury.
In March 2023, Majors was arrested in NYC for choking Jabbari during a domestic dispute, which sent her to the hospital to be treated for minor head and neck injuries.
