A relative of a man who died after being shot along with five others Friday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood said social media led to his cousin's death.

"Facebook killed him, that's what did it," a man who said he was a cousin of the victim said as he looked over the shooting scene from behind yellow police tape. "They boxing over Facebook. It's so stupid."

The medical examiner's office identified the man killed as Byron Mckinney Jr., 24, of the 500 block of North Pine Avenue.
