Man is fighting for life after he was set on fire during an argument with another man who threw gasoline over him and lit it at a Mobile gas station

A 34-year-old was arrested on Sunday afternoon after allegedly pouring gasoline on another man during an argument at a gas station and setting him on fire, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said that at around 4:30 p.m. on May 28, two men got into an argument at a Mobil gas station on 22nd Street in Tampa, Florida.

After the confrontation, police said that Earl Hargrove, Jr. bought some gasoline from the pump.

Hargrove then allegedly poured it over the victim before setting him on fire.

The sheriff's office did not identify the victim, but said he was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
