That worked because the kids back then were human! Interesting story about Icelandic politics that a guy from Iceland told me years ago: Because of the climate and hot springs, Iceland has a unique jacuzzi/sauna culture: It's very common to do business in public baths and usually everyone goes there at least once a week. The guy from Iceland now said: "In Iceland, we wouldn't allow politicians to behave as they do in Europe! We are a small country, therefore everyone knows at least one member of parliament, or knows somebody who knows one. Because we know lots of people from the sauna. So if a politician gets out of hand, we know who to beat up."
