he woman found running topless around a neighborhood after killing a woman in her home told investigators that she saw demons in the sky and people were trying to kill her, according to the arrest report.

Sheree Latoya Williams, 34, appeared in court Monday morning on a charge of first-degree murder.
According to the arrest report, Williams confessed to deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office to using a cellphone charging cord to strangle the victim.

The victim has not been identified.

Williams told investigators she believed the victim was trying to sacrifice her for financial gain. Williams said she had vivid dreams about it.

After killing the woman, Williams told deputies she ran off to avoid being captured by law enforcement. When she realized she couldn't escape, Williams said she surrendered.

Deputies found Williams wearing only green underwear, hiding in a drainage canal on West Scottsdale Road in North Palm Beach, about a third of a mile from the crime scene.

The first call to 911 came in from a neighbor at around 9:12 a.m. on Sunday, March 26. The neighbor reported a suspicious incident involving a naked woman climbing a tree in the area of Magnolia Drive in unincorporated West Palm Beach.
