There's a lot of scams in a cruise, one of them "art auctions". Worthless art made by unknowns who will remain unknown, 99.9% of them. Usually some painters from Eastern Europe and China. I've seen some people with money to burn just bid and buy worthless paintings. But maybe they just want to spend it all before they go.
