That’s one of my favorite things about riding horses. I’ve never seen a nigger on horseback. Occasionally I’ll see one knuckling along a trail. I have to restrain my horse from kicking it, she hates niggers worse than i do I think.

Stephens was sometimes called “John Wayne Kelly” by friends and family because of his love of riding horses, his family told KWTX.
I'm sure the real John Wayne would be thrilled having a nigger culturally appropriate his name.
Stephens had no gang ties, however, some of his relatives might, family members told the station.
Well, that's surprising.
