We've all seen this one by now and I keep reading on social media "where are all the women and children?" This will explain that:

I heard a story from an Army medic who was at an aid station in Afganistan.
One day a man came in with his wife who's hand had been pretty mangled in a piece of farm equipment. The medic patched her up as best as he could then told the husband that there was some tendon and ligament damage and she'd have to see a surgeon if she were going to regain use of that hand. Keeping in mind that in Afghanistan, women do the majority of manual labor.

The husband told him "well take her away and kill her then", "she's of no use to me". Simple as that. That's how they think, that's the culture and that's where all the women and children are in the cargo hold of that C-17 . They're not, they don't matter.
