Convicted Pedophile Wanted For Murder & Out On Bail Fatally Shot By Police During Intense Pursuit & Gunfight

A 47-year-old homicide suspect was fatally shot earlier in September following a shootout with Milwaukee Police that transpired after a vehicular pursuit involving the suspect. Authorities say the decedent was wanted for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend, whom he reportedly killed after a judge released him on bail in August despite him having pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old.

On August 15th, 47-year-old Ernest Terrell Blakney pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault regarding him engaging in sex with a 13-year-old girl back in 2020.


Prior to Blakney pleading guilty this past August, he’d posted $5,000 cash bail and was released from jail in November of 2021. In light of Blakney pleading guilty in August, prosecutors sought for him to be remanded into custody, considering he blatantly admitted to his guilt, and all that was procedurally left in the court process was his sentencing slated for October 20th.
