      Deputies: Suspect in police chase, shooting found dead


      CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The man multiple South Carolina law enforcement agencies searched for Sunday evening after allegedly leading officers on a chase and shooting at them has been found dead.

      According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, Lancaster County deputies were responding to a call when the suspect, whose name has not been released, fired shots at deputies. The time of the original call has not been released, either.
