The Golden Girls is being revived with an all-black cast, which includes Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross.

The iconic sitcom - which ran for seven season between 1985 and 1992 - revolved around the lives of four white women living together in Miami, but the new project will seek to 'reimagine' the situation from a black perspective.

Fans should not get too excited about the beloved program returning to the airwaves, however, as the revival appears to be a one-night special set to be broadcast over Zoom.

When I was a kid, we had about a 19" B&W TV.

We got 3 VHF stations and 3 or 4 UHF stations when we wrapped the rabbit ears with foil.

As soon as you sat down the picture would roll. You'd have to hop up and adjust the knob to keep it from rolling.

Sometimes you'd have to bang on the top of the set to bring a fucked up picture back.

If the neighbor was running his sawmill, it looked like a snowstorm from the plug wire interference.

Today I sit in front of my HD LED or LCV or whatever the fuck it is... with a screen as wide as my pickup truck. I have a remote that all but sucks me off. Premium sound comes from all sides, the picture is flawless. TV is the best it's ever been!

AND ALL I SEE ARE NIGGERS ON MY SCREEN ON EVERY CHANNEL!
