n 82-year-old veteran holding a Donald Trump sign was pushed to the ground and kicked in the ribs and legs by a man who first ripped the sign from his hands and tore it in half, police in Massachusetts said.
Police responded to reports of the assault at about 5:30pm on Tuesday, Fall River police Lt. Daniel Dube said.
Aidan Courtright, 27, of Fall River, pulled up in his car at the rotary of North Main Street and Airport Road on Tuesday, where Charles Chace was standing and holding up a pro-Trump sign.
According to police, Courtright grabbed and destroyed the sign and pushed the victim, Charles Chace, to the ground, then kicked him with 'leather pointed shoes' while he was on the groun
