Around the U.S, "demonstrations" over the death of Floyd have sparked both "protesters" and city officials to remove, deface or announce plans to take down many Confederate memorials.

Montgomery, Alabama: another statue of Robert Lee was toppled in front of its namesake high school.

Birmingham, Alabama: Mayor Randall Woodfin ordered the removal of a 50-foot-tall Confederate obelisk. In addition, "protesters" dismantled the brass cast of Charles Linn, a captain in the Confederate Navy.

Mobile, Alabama: a bronze figure of Admiral Raphael Semmes taken down.

Indianapolis: Mayor Joe Hogsett has said that a monument of Confederate soldiers will be removed from a park.

Tennessee: a statue of Edward Carmack, a controversial former lawmaker and a "racist" newspaper publisher, toppled.

Alexandria, Virginia: "The United Daughters of the Confederacy" took down a statue of a soldier gazing south in.

I'm not from the south, but these are monuments to history. Racist against blacks, heck the four on Mt. Rushmore will tell you blacks are not equal. Are they next? How about Stone Mountain, Georgia? Then we have MLK in Washington DC, what the fuck is that? Next there will be an obelisk for muh-dikk.
