Chimp Goes Ape on 71 year old Luncheonette Owner in Troy NY
TROY -- The Troy Police Department has made an arrest in the assault and robbery of a restaurant owner.
Police said the owner of Jimmy's Luncheonette on Congress St. was attacked and beaten after serving breakfast to a patron, later identified as 39-year-old Shamaiah Davis of Albany, on May 12.
After being asked to leave, Davis allegedly began striking the 71-year-old owner causing her head and face injuries, before fleeing on foot.
