A severely mentally ill and cowardly sand nigger has been shot dead by armed cops today after stabbing two people in a knife rampage terror attack on a London high street.

Frantic witnesses heard gunshots and saw the man - who security sources say has "Islamist" links - collapse on the pavement on Streatham High Road.

The man was seen lying on the floor wearing what witnesses described as a possible suicide vest, with a knife nearby.

Kiranjeet Singh, 38, told the Sun Online the suspected terrorist stole a 10inch knife from his brother's bargain shop before leaving a trail of injured people in his wake.

He stabbed a terrified woman in the back before she ran away screaming in pain, another witness said, before slashing a young man in the chest with a "huge knife".

Panicked people urged the wounded man to "stay with us" as he lay gravely injured on the ground.

Armed cops raced to take down the knife-wielding man - thought to be wearing something resembling a suicide vest - and shot him three times just after 2pm.

The guy was just running around with a huge knife randomly stabbing people so police had to stop him.

“I am in disbelief that this could happen in Streatham. “This is one of the most diverse, inclusive and tolerant communities in London.

This is the first picture of the terror suspect who was shot dead by police after two people were stabbed in Streatham, south London, earlier today.

Amman left prison just a matter of days ago after serving half of his more-than three year sentence, it is understood.

He was sentenced in December 2018 for possessing and distributing terrorist documents.

The then 18-year-old, who was described as 'knife-obsessed', was found with a stash of bomb-making and close-combat manuals - including one titled 'How to Make A Bomb in Your Kitchen'.

Amman, from Harrow, Middlesex, also shared Al-Qaeda propaganda on a family WhatsApp group, exposing relatives as young as 11 to violent material.

In other online chats, Amman told his girlfriend of his hatred for “kuffars” (non-believers), his allegiance to ISIS and his wish to carry out a terror attack.

In one message he even encouraged his girlfriend to behead her own “kuffar parents”, the court previously heard.

Sudesh Amman, the man shot dead by police in what officials described as a terrorism incident in south London, had been jailed for promoting violent Islamist material and had encouraged his girlfriend to behead her parents.

Amman, 20, was named by British police as the attacker who stabbed two people before he was shot dead by armed officers who had been carrying out surveillance on him.

He also described Yazidi women as slaves and said the Koran made it permissible to rape them, and in another message he encouraged his girlfriend to behead her parents.
