An employee who was gifted a bottle of BBQ sauce for the holidays from the 'billion-dollar' company he works for was fired after complaining about the present on Twitter.

Hussien Mehaidli, from Toronoto, Canada, was fired from his job as a general manager for the construction company Fastenal, after he complained that the Canadian employees were gifted a $6 bottle of BBQ sauce.

He claims their US colleagues were treated to a goodie box full of cookies, M&Ms, beef jerky, just as all the employees had in previous years.

Mr Mehaidli was called into a meeting and fired on December 30 for a 'violation of standards of conduct policy.'

Well, sandnigger has a point. BBQ sauce is for pork products as part of American cooking traditions. So he thinks the barbecue sauce is useless.

If he got vinegar to soak his goat in, there's there'd be no problems. We need to be culturally sensitive.
