Police have launched an ape-hunt after a schoolgirl was raped in a north London park by a rape-ape that tried to start a bixnood conversation with her.

It was reported that the 14-year-old girl was raped in Chestnuts Park, Haringey after being approached by a pavement ape that initially tried to engage her in conversation.
