Turkish president dunecoon Erdogan officially opened the Cambridge Central Mosque, "Europe's first eco-mosque", in the east of England.

Several "donors" contributed to the mosque's construction. However, the main "donor" was a consortium of government agencies in Turkey, together with a Turkish private company and the Qatar National Fund.
