"Teen" arrested for raping 14-year-old girl in Glasgow

A teenape has been arrested over the rape of a 14-year-old girl in Glasgow.

Officers from Police Scotland are probing the serious sexual assault which took place in the Royston area of the city on Saturday, November 16.

Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing with cops cuffing a 16-year-old male in connection.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A 16-year-old male youth* has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
