Tony Blair says a second referendum could be held on the same day as a general election as he BACKS Jeremy Corbyn's decision not to support new vote until a No Deal Brexit is ruled out

A second Brexit referendum could be held on the same day as a general election, former prime minister Tony Blair said today.

The three-time election winner for Labour made the audacious suggestion as he backed successor Jeremy Corbyn's refusal to back a new vote while a No Deal Brexit is still possible - but demanded he go even further.

In an interview with BBC Radio 4's Westminster Hour, due to be broadcast this evening, Mr Blair said: 'You can deal with them both on the same day if you want. But you should deal with them separately.'

Isn't that how liberals always work? When any election does not go their way, they "challenge the results," demand a redo, or demand a recall. When an election goes their way, "How dare you go against the democratic process!"
