An Orangeburg County nigger couple have been hit with unlawful conduct towards a child charges after their child was found to have been severely burned.

Arthur Shingler, Jr., 50, and Tara Thompson, 40, could face up to 10 years in prison on the charge.

Officers were told by the child's father, according to investigators, that a hot iron fell on the child's legs. Investigators said the woman then gave the child first aid before she headed to work.
