Mrs Chimpout follows rule one religiously now. She is still very much everyone is nice and be kind to everyone except niggers she hates them but has to show tolerance.

For valentines day I said to her I'll take her to any restaurant she wants. Let me know the name and I'll get us a table. (In my game you get to know a lot of people and its a very much you get me a table and make Mrs CO happy and I'll swap your standard ticket for a first class one). She's quite the foodie even though she is a celiac, we do try some pretty amazing places. Generally all nigger free.

Now Mrs CO has a fear, It only come about when she was diagnosed as a celiac, she is scared one day she won't wake up from a bad attack, or she'll choke on her own vomit. I promised her from then on if she ever had a bad attack I'd stay up all night and made sure she didn't choke or anything.

So she tells me the name of this restaurant and we agree that'll we'll have a week off after together because she's been busy with work and we get "unlimited" holidays so decided to spend some time together. I speak to one of the maitre d's of the restaurant, get a reservation. I decide to check the place out make sure there is no niggers. I do and it appears clean.

We turn up. get seated. Mrs CO stress it needs to be gluten free and suitable for a celiac. The human waitress confirms its ok. One of the choices Mrs CO picked contained mustard and the human waitress said to her it does. You know what fantastic service. She picked this dish. We talk, we get our starters. Perfect.

The main course comes and we start eating. Mrs CO says she isn't feeling well. I wait and I get a text off her telling me something was in the food and she is having an attack. I grab someone to say "hey whats going on, its got gluten in it". The maitre d apologises and says she'll go chat with the kitchen. Thats when this big ugly buck that is a "chef" comes out and says

"Gluten free is a fad, gluten neva hurt no one, I put flour in dis what yo problem"

The maitre d looked shocked apologised and said there was nothing to pay. I get Mrs CO home and fired off a complaint to the restaurant, obviously they are defending Toby saying it might not have known about the allergy. When I fired one back saying it did. They've replied saying that the chef might not have known what a gluten intolerance was. Urm what the actual fuck.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I've been up all night Mrs CO is still fairly bad. I think I'll go legal and show them what happens when you hire a pet.

I've got it in an e-mail too. The management said whilst he admits Sambo glutened her he doesn't see why he should have the liability. It is up to Mrs CO to make sure its GF. This annoyed me. We can't just go out like a normal couple can. I can't just rock up with normal take out because it has to be planned. the place needs to be checked by Mrs CO so she is happy. When I got with her. I understood this all had to be on her terms. I'm happy with that. I'll be honest. I'm happy a girl like Mrs CO even looked at me. I've become more careful on this too.

Yes! We check everything we buy. Food shopping takes ages, I don't care I love her. People have said "Just sleep if she chokes you'll hear", The manager said I didn't need to go that far. Mrs CO wouldn't sleep if I didn't because she is petrified. Going out for food won't happen for months now. Her confidence is knocked.

Wow. That's awful. That dumb nigger has no business being a chef. Any decent chef worth his salt knows that people with food allergens need to be taken seriously and that it can literally be the difference between life and death for some people.

I read this one story about a Brit with serious peanut allergies. He went to a curry restaurant ran by a cameljockey who insisted that there were no peanuts in the curry, but he had substituted ground peanuts in place of the more expensive almond powder usually used in curry. The Brit ended up dying and the cameljockey ended up in prison. You have to be careful where you eat these days.

On this side of the pond the restaurant could be held liable for contributory negligence by not having a chef trained about the dangers of gluten to Celiacs, It's no different than knowing about peanut and other food allergy dangers. If the restaurant claims to be Gluten Free or Friendly then it's up to the establishment to ensure it's staff are adequately trained. I know a few Celiacs and they never chance eating out because it's too risky. Hope The Mrs gets well soon, and that monkey gets genital warts.

So we got a letter yesterday apologising offering us a voucher for a free meal at their establishment.

Of course we rejected it. Mrs CO doesn't want to go back I don't.

On a more positive note I went to our usual Chinese take away, The owner knows about Mrs CO and I explained about her recent glutening he said "I'll make sure the chef uses clean tools." then proceeds to give us extra dishes because we are good customers and he "likes the fact Mrs CO still trusts him"
