      A math teacher from Brooklyn has been arrested for allegedly having sex with his 15-year-old student on multiple occasions on school property.

      Andre Braddy, 34, an eighth-grade mathematics and advanced algebra teacher at PS 235 in Canarsie, was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with criminal sex act, act in a manner injurious to a child and sex abuse.

      In 2014, he became one of four City University of New York graduates awarded a $100,000 fellowship from Math for America for agreeing to to teach math in New York City public schools for five years while pursuing their studies.
