Fayetteville police announced Tuesday they have arrested someone in Monday’s shooting death in the 4800 block of Alamance Road.

Arrested was Shyheim White, 19, of Dublin, on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.

Police also identified Tuesday the victim as 21-year-old Dennis Burden. He was shot in his apartment.

Police said White was charged with being negligent and reckless using a firearm.
