Back in January I received a registered letter from my doctor saying she will no longer be able to serve as my Primary Care Physician. I had just changed my insurance to AETNA and had figured that was the reason. So I quickly change my health insurance back to UHC and figured that was taken care of. Today to my surprise after I scheduled an appointment the previous week I received a call stating that I would not be seen by Dr. Coxey referring me back to the registered letter of January. I queried the girl what the problem was because I had changed my insurance back to UHC. I'm going to refer you to the office manager.
I was then transferred to voicemail. SNAFU. Then I get another call apologizing that I was sent to the wrong number and I was assured I was being sent to flat dick mike, the office manager.
Flat Dick Mike then proceeds to tell me that I was determined to be too vulgar and unprofessional to conduct business in their office. I know when I fall off stool and let loose but I for the life of me can remember a pejorative laden diatribe directed at anyone associated with Coppell Family Medical Clinic. He then states my voice mail message as the culprit. I told him that having that message in excess of 15 years and no one complained in that time while Dr. Gelman was my physician. I also told him that message was the result of the previous owner of the telephone number was a drug dealer. He asked why not change the number to which I said my choice of what I do.
So now I'm in the market for a new PCP. I just looked up the Hippocratic oath and there was no exclusion for bigots. You can be a baby raping, drug snorting, murdering burden on society but don't be no Bigot.
I feel when others pay for my phone bill then they can dictate what content goes on my voice mail message. My only solace is knowing I got to some thin skinned nigger in their practice.
