Innocent bystander Odessa Simms, 61, was blasted in the neck while she was with a group of people at the Colonel Charles Yong Playground near the corner of Lenox Avenue and West 144th Street at around 11:45 p.m., cops said.
Her husband, David Simms, had just left the park to head home because he was tired when his wife was shot, according to friends and neighbors.
