Mayor Tooie Hales told the News & Observer the firing was “not solely related on the investigation and the resignation of the employees.” The majority of the council decided Jones just wasn’t “working out,” he said, without elaborating.

Executive staff, most of the time, serve under the pleasure of the board of directors, or town elders, who answer to the public at large. It's as if they don't have a probationary period: it makes sense, just like here - the town leader just isn't doing its job, so why wait? Coupled with the fact that it's been there only 3 months, the town is within their full legal power to shitcan that monkey. That said, you know ugly gorilla Crump will be there. May not go anywhere in court, but they can try. Everything now is racist, so odds are good for them, it's even odds it will go forward the first hurdle. The town will lose some money.

Lesson? Never ever hire any nigger, not now, not ever! They are going to call you racist anyway, don't even hire them. I wouldn't.
