Crossbows are actually a very impressive technology that are borderline close to being as useful as firearms.

They are probably too much for the nigger mind to handle, though.

Obviously, a single action revolver chambered for .22 long rifle would be more useful than a crossbow if the poop hit the fan... but a crossbow would be useful if one needed to do a lot of hunting.
