Dutch Intelligence Agency (AIVD) foils terrorist attack involving suicide vests and a car bomb

Two men were arrested in the Netherlands, on Monday, for preparing to carry out a terrorist attack using at least one car bomb and bomb vests. The suspects were plotting to carry out an attack in the Netherlands by the end of the year.

Intelligence agency AIVD first found out about the men because the two "suspects intended to commit a jihadist attack. They wanted to make use of explosives, and to receive training for this purpose," the Public Prosecution Service stated.
