Video game development won't become more "diverse" until video game making software comes with features that will automate the more difficult parts of making games.

And even if that were the case, you would still need to know how to get from Point A to Point B, and everywhere in between.

Also, being mostly white doesn't prevent video game teams from making stinkers.
