Segregation worked well in the USA for a long time during which at massive cost it successfully fought (and effectively ended) two world wars going on to create and lead the unprecedented domestic and global economic growth of the 50's era. So what was the 'Problem' again?

Imagine if we tried it now. Strip all their gibs, bar them from private and even public places, put them back in their fucking place and the whole damn country would explode. First off, they'd stomp right into wherever they please and chimpout demanding service (the whole "you ain't telling me what to do" attitude). They would tear this damn country apart if the fucking military wasn't involved. Fun to think about though.
