My husband and I have been major Shakespeare fans for decades. We had to stop going to the Shakespeare festival in Oregon because of the fuxxation. It seems now that every Shakespeare festival’s chief goal is to throw as many black actors on stage as can fit at any one time. They especially glory in having interracial romantic couples. We’re not supposed to notice.

Aside from that one bizarre casting decision, that movie (Much Ado About Nothing) was beautiful. One of the best film treatments of a Shakespeare play ever. It was done by actor/director Kenneth Branagh. He made a film version of the Shakespeare play “As You Like It” which was unwatchable because the male romantic lead just HAD to be a nigger whom all the ladies swooned over (Idris Elba I think).
