charging $170 for a roll of 12-2 Romex, when I can buy it at the electrical supply for $125. They really nail you on metal j-boxes, wire nuts, clamps
etc. Their power tools are often downgraded versions, that look identical to the same brand's commercial offerings, but have plastic gears instead of metal, and less powerful batteries. Their bits, blades and other consumables are wildly overpriced. The light fixtures they sell are cheap shit, very limited selection, and way overpriced. Their dimension lumber is sub-standard, compared to anything at a decent lumberyard. They put a lot of construction supply companies out of business when they first opened, and have steadily raised prices ever since.
