Both U.S. and Ukraine have ratified the Nonproliferation Treaty recognizing Ukraine as a non-nuclear state.

Perhaps, Ukraine would not hesitate to violate this treaty now, as it has violated for example, the Landmines Treaty.

However, the Nonproliferation Treaty is now a valid U.S. Federal Law prohibiting the USA to provide any non-peaceful nuclear assistance to Ukraine.

I am not surprised Russia is objecting to this complete B.S., this is part of their information war to object to some alleged B.S..
