And this was literally picking up a bag off the floor, not as in going somewhere to get his pot.

A 16-year-old girl was shot in the head after refusing to pick up a bag of marijuana that had fallen on the floor, police say.
Demarkus Hedges, 18, allegedly murdered Scarlett Tucker in front of three other teenagers, according to a statement from the Boone County Sheriff's Office in Kentucky.
Tucker was announced dead at the scene after police arrived. Hedges fled the scene in a vehicle, but he turned himself in shortly thereafter.
"Through investigation, detectives learned that Tucker and Hedges, along with an 18-year-old female, an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were known to one another and spent much of Monday night into Tuesday morning together in areas of Cincinnati and Covington," a statement from the sheriff's office read.
"They later arrived at the Silver Brook Drive address at approximately 1:30 A.M., which is home to the 18-year-old female. According to witness statements, a bag of marijuana fell on the bedroom floor and Hedges demanded that Tucker pick it up. Tucker rebuffed him. Hedges then pointed his handgun at Tucker's head and fired one (1) shot," it added.

"She really embodied the whole 'Scarlett' persona," Rebekah Williams, Tucker's aunt, told WCPO. "I think we're all kind of in a state of shock at this point. I think we hurt for everybody involved. I mean, he was 18, still a young kid in our eyes, you know. We don't necessarily have all of the details of the situation."
