I know this is probably the opposite of what the msm wants, but I'm getting some serious fatigue from seeing non-stop reports of mass shootings. If it's really so bad, why aren't more people buying guns for personal protection?

The solution isn't to ban weapons; the solution is to give everyone guns so they can hold bad people accountable for their actions. I mean, if you walked into a building with an "assault rifle 15" and the intent to murder innocent people but you knew every single person there had, say, a glock 19, you would probably reconsider, right? (Well, assuming you weren't completely schizo, but that's why everyone else should also have guns.)

I bet crime would seriously decrease if criminals had to start worrying about getting turned into swiss cheese by their potential victims.
