Deputies arrested three Greenville men on Thursday after finding crack cocaine and marijuana in a vehicle, according to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office was assisting Greenville Police Department and Probation and Parole on Thursday in locating Jaymes Pitt, 27, who was wanted by probation as an absconder, according to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office on Friday.

Pitt was located with two other men standing beside a vehicle at 1507 Ashland Drive. Deputies searched the vehicle and located crack cocaine and marijuana valued at $330, the release said.

Pitt, of 919 Allen Road No. 11, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked without bond at the Pitt County Detention Center.

Thurenzo Elizondo Speight, 29, of 1804 McCullen St., is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked under a $150,000 secured bond at the same facility.

Demetrius Tyreese Hines, 29, of Greenville, is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was served with warrants for failure to appear on two counts of driving while license revoked, two counts of speeding and one count of driving while impaired. He was booked without bond at the detention center.
