Those are only war games played by those who have supposedly fled from their own countries "because of war":

In one of the "troublezones" of Berlin's Schöneberg district, youths set off a "ball bomb" mortar firework that caused a massive explosion that blew out all the windows of an entire apartment building. Nevertheless, a night of firework chaos resulted in mass arrests totaling over 400 people and over 600 police investigations across the city.

The house that lost all its windows was located on Belziger Strasse on the corner of Hauptstrasse. The facade was also damaged. Police report that certain groups are increasingly gaining access to massive "ball bomb" mortars that create massive explosions.

These ball bombs are illegal due to their high explosive power, but somehow young people in Berlin are getting access to these fireworks via the black market. These ball bombs are spherical in shape and come in various sizes, some weigh up to several kilograms and can have an explosion radius of up to 100 meters. They are fired from mortars and professional fireworks. Individuals in Germany reportedly gain access to them through chat groups and contacts in the black market fireworks scene.

The explosion left 36 apartments temporarily uninhabitable. A fire department spokesman spoke of a "battlefield".

"Many apartments are no longer inhabitable. There are four injured people, two of whom had to be taken to hospital," he said.

One of the suspects in the bomb attack has already been arrested, according to media reports.

In another incident in Berlin-Tegel, a suspected ball bomb exploded in the middle of a crowd. According to a spokesman for the Berlin fire department, eight people were injured, two of them with life-threatening injuries, including a 7-year-old boy who had to undergo emergency surgery for life-threatening injuries.

While the massive explosion in Schöneberg was perhaps the most dramatic event on New Year's Eve, chaos reigned throughout the city, resulting in 400 arrests. Videos circulating on social media show youths firing fireworks at buildings, shooting vehicles with grenade launchers and attacking police and firefighters.

According to the Berliner Morgenpost, several of those arrested attacked emergency services and other people with fireworks. Some of those arrested were in possession of illegal weapons.

According to initial reports, 30 police officers and one firefighter were injured, compared to 34 police officers last year.

However, a police officer in Mauerpark was so badly injured by a suspected illegal firework that he is in danger of losing his leg.

AfD (Alternative for Germany party) leader and candidate for chancellor Alice Weidel wrote on X: "Civil war-like conditions in the usual Berlin districts: attacks with ball bombs, 15 injured police officers and 390 arrests. The citizens who actually just want to celebrate are paying the price for migration policy on New Year's Eve too."

They are fired from mortars and professional fireworks. Individuals in Germany reportedly gain access to them through chat groups and contacts in the black market fireworks scene.

However, there were attacks across the country - not just in Berlin. The Federal Chairman of the Police Union (GdP), Jochen Kopelke, said in view of the attacks on emergency services: "I can no longer tolerate this macho behavior on the streets and in social media. Again and again, it is young men from socially disadvantaged areas who think they are controlling the streets." He calls for swift action against these perpetrators: "In Leipzig, Munich, Cologne and Hamburg, we were targeted and injured. This must have rapid and noticeable consequences for the perpetrators and also have noticeable effects on the left-wing extremist scene." The RBB also reports that in many cases there are apparently young people who try to make their own "ball bombs". "They explode mainly in the hand, which is why we have seen the most serious hand injuries and amputations, combined with severe burns. But the face, neck and eyes were also affected," says the director of the Berlin Accident Hospital, Leila Harhaus-Wähner. She adds that those affected are “exclusively adolescents or young adults, exclusively men.”

Berlin's state fire director Karsten Homrighausen also said the fire department has registered significantly more accidents involving ball bombs this year compared to last year.
"Last year it was still manageable, but now it's spreading more and more," Homrighausen said.
That means there could be even more such attacks next year, especially as news of the destructive power of such ball bombs spreads and may resonate with certain groups in Berlin and other cities.
Arson also appears to have occurred across Berlin, with 28 vehicles in various locations badly damaged. Police and firefighters are continuing to investigate these incidents.
In another incident, a 26-year-old man was pushed onto the tracks at Kurfürstenstrasse subway station after complaining that two men were lighting fireworks and throwing them onto the tracks. Police said they then hit the 26-year-old with glass bottles and pushed him onto the tracks. Witnesses were able to help the man get up before the next train arrived.
The two men, one 40 and the other 49 years old, fled the area but were later arrested by the police.

Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU) has announced investigations into the attacks on emergency services on New Year's Eve.
"Shooting police officers with ball bombs, attacking emergency services and fire rescue workers with pyrotechnics or stones - unbelievable," Wegner told the Tagesspiegel. "We will never accept these attacks on our emergency services and will continue to maintain the pressure to investigate. Such perpetrators must feel the full force of the rule of law. I trust the Berlin police and judiciary in this."
Most of the young people arrested were released the next day. Many of them are too young to be prosecuted and in many cases the Berlin judiciary is even lenient with repeat offenders.

Berlins's prosecutor's office thank police, through sending all but two arrested through the revolving door of travesty justice:

400 arrests, only two jailed – where is the punishment for New Year’s Eve rioters?

What kind of signal is this after the fireworks madness and ball bomb horror of New Year's Eve? The Berlin police have arrested 400 rioters, firecracker idiots and rocket idiots. But arrest warrants have only been issued in two cases! And yet politicians, especially the Federal Minister of the Interior, had promised before New Year's Eve that they would take tough action. No way!

Three days after the latest night of violence, Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (52, CDU) is now saying for the first time that most of the perpetrators appear to have a migrant background. The police will soon announce the nationalities.

► The New Year's Eve balance in the capital: Around 670 investigations were initiated throughout the city of Berlin - mainly for violations of the Weapons Act and the Explosives Act, physical attacks on and resistance against law enforcement officers, as well as bodily harm and arson.

The public prosecutor's office decides whether to apply for an arrest warrant. To do this, the evidence against the suspect must be examined. If the evidence is solid, a decision is also made as to whether there is a risk of the suspect fleeing or repeating the offense. A judge then decides whether this is the case and whether an arrest warrant is issued. However, it can also be suspended subject to certain conditions. As is currently the case with the 17-year-old who is said to have fired rockets at police officers on Alexanderplatz. He remains at large. Only one man, a clan member (20), is currently in custody as a result of New Year's Eve.

The investigations against the ball bombers are still ongoing: Suspects? None! "So far, no suspects have been identified in these proceedings," says Michael Thomas Petzold, spokesman for the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office.
Not even in the case of the ball bomb detonated in Tegel, which injured eight people. One of them was a seven-year-old child, seriously injured! The Arab influencer who fired a rocket into a child's room also remains free. At least he is being investigated for attempted arson, but a prison sentence is unlikely.
NOBODY has been punished, for example in a summary procedure. Petzold said: "The detention cases from New Year's Eve have been dealt with. That had to be done within 48 hours. If it is not a detention case, the accused will be released after their arrest."

In view of the dramatic conditions during New Year's Eve, Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser :facepalm (54, SPD) told B.Z.: "Chaos and violent criminals who attack emergency services and put people's health at risk with highly dangerous explosive devices only understand severity."
And she continued: "We want the following to apply in the future: up to five years imprisonment if police officers, paramedics or doctors are lured into ambushes."

Federal Justice Minister Volker Wissing (54) told B.Z.: "It is important that the penal provisions are applied consistently. The perpetrators must quickly feel the severity of the law. The penal code already offers the possibility of severely punishing attacks such as those we saw on New Year's Eve." And he continued: "In September, we as the federal government introduced a draft law that provides for stricter punishment for attacks on police officers, rescue workers and firefighters." His appeal: "The Bundestag should pass it before the election."

Berlin interior expert Martin Matz (59, SPD): "I find it extremely annoying for the Berlin police, who, in my view, do everything they can to prepare criminal charges well and then nothing happens for a long time or even nothing at all." Vasili Franco (32, Green Party): "Even the police and fire department know that the announcement of the full severity of the law is nothing more than a fairy tale."

On Friday, the Berlin police did not want to make any further statements about the nature and extent of the New Year's Eve investigations. When asked, spokesman Martin Halweg said: "A new assessment is planned for the beginning of next week." Until then, there will be nothing new.
So far, nothing has been announced about the nationalities of those arrested. When asked, a spokeswoman for the Interior Ministry said: "The nationality of the suspects is not necessary for understanding the crimes that took place on New Year's Eve."

Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner (CDU) contradicted this: "We have seen that the suspected perpetrators who attacked or seriously endangered police officers, rescue workers and other people were to a large extent young men with a migrant background."
The police will “upon request also announce the percentage distribution of nationalities and age groups of the offenders regarding the crimes typical for New Year’s Eve.”

You bet they are. Reminds me that when there was a mass leak of emails from the Met office in England that oversaw climate change "information" some Democrats made an issue of how whoever did the leaks needed to be found and arrested. Go against the narrative and risk your freedom.
