California - known for its poo-lined streets, is one step closer to Soylent Green, after state officials approved new "toilet-to-tap" regulations which would allow water agencies to take wastewater from homes, recycle it, and then deliver it back to households in an effort to maximize the state's water supply.

Officials swear it's safe (until it's not, we assume), due to three rigorous stages of treatment. The poo water is treated for pathogens and viruses that is allegedly so effective that minerals have to be added back into the water to give it taste.

"If one fails, there’s still two remaining in its place as backups to make sure nothing goes untreated," said Polhemus.

Gavin Nuisance sure does love drinking his shitwater with his shitskin friends.

The first areas of the state to turn poo into water will be San Diego and the Bay Area. In San Diego, half of the city's water supply would be poo water by 2035, according to officials.

Let's all move to California. :lol

Take one look at who will decide when YT's water is drinkable. She's a "scientist", like I'm the fucking Easter Bunny....

Believe me folks, this has been talked about since the late 80s. Nothing new. When they say "toilet to tap", it's an unfair but catchy description. First the sewage is filtered, chlorinated , and filtered again. Then there's more superchlorination and mixing. Think about it, all water is recycled.

In the end, perception is what may prevent actual implementation. Same concept as a sanitized, disinfected, clean cockroach. You won't willingly eat that, would you?

In my career I've never met a black scientist. Ever. I've never met a nigger scientist as well.

Shit in the governors office, Shit on the streets and now shit in the water. California is really paving the way, but not with gold.

California's demographics are already like Mexico's, so it's not surprising that its tap water will be like Mexico's too.

I thought the same when I saw the picture. Nigger "scientist", good joke! On the other hand: I have no idea where they got the water from before. I can't imagine wells, because LA has been one gigantic oil field not too long ago. On the other hand that might explain some of the nonsense.

In addition to wells, they use a system of aqueducts, similar to ancient Roman construction, to transport water from northern parts of the state, and from
the Colorado River. This enables the negro population to wash itself, which it seldom does. Soap and water is a white people thing....

Thanks! I have to admit, I was just too lazy to search :-). It's amazing though, that LA needs water from hundreds of miles away. I wonder when climate activists/ass-lifters decide to blow up the pipes and then complain that LA becomes uninhabitable.

Extremely rare in Engineering or Natural Sciences, but in libtard sciences like Nigger Studies, Ethnical Studies, Peace Studies, and so on, you can meet quite a few niggers, because these "sciences" are rather a form of gibs.

I have to admit that the astronauts on ISSS are using the described process to get drinking water from both urine and feces for years already, so it can work.

The one thing they did right in California and New York is water infrastructure. Both states have tremendous reservoirs, aqueducts and water
tunnels, all being constantly improved and maintained. NYC has rail-sized tunnel projects hundreds of feet underground. New York's one thing we
have over other cities is great water quality and supply. Of course, our libshit Marxists love their fake water shortage narratives, so they can tax
humans as much as possible, so niggers don't have to pay...

California's demographics are already like Mexico's, so it's not surprising that its tap water will be like Mexico's too.

I had a teacher in middle school who once said, "You know how the Mexicans warn us, 'Don't drink the water, señor!'" He even threw in a pretty bad accent that couldn't cover up his own Philadelphian. Can you imagine how fast a teacher gets fired these days for such a thing? Except if it's a nigger or Hispanic who makes fun of YTs, of course, especially the sterotypical redneck/hillbilly that doesn't exist.

I happened to come across this old thread, and I'll just throw in my two cents. The filtration in space is extremely complex and extremely expensive. It works because NASA and other countries' space agencies will spend a whole lot of money per person, that would never be practical for large populations.

On the ground, we have nature's distillation: wherever the water evaporated from, whatever it was mixed with in oceans and lakes and rivers, the rainfall into reservoirs gives fairly clean water. Then it all comes down to how good the delivery is. As Ray pointed out, NYC has a really great system going, many decades old, and the water quality really is among the best in the whole country. You can tell the system had to predate the liberal takeover, but in some ways the bureaucracy is still impossibly stupid. I used to live near a major reservoir, but my town couldn't tap into the water. That was the city's water, so for miles around we had to have our electric wells.

Sure, you'll have birds swimming and defecating in the water, and people taking boats out into the water. You have to figure some people will be relieving themselves when nobody's looking. But it's not like a major sewage plant is discharging into a body of water, and would NYC ever think of using the Hudson's water? There's just no way to filter that effectively to make it safe. Safe for lawns and gardens, yes, but not potable.

But over here, even doggy doo washed down into street drains ends up getting treated with everything else. Bacteria eat up biological impurities, after paper, batteries, sand and glass get filtered out. Air is pumped into these pools, helping bacteria to do their job. A chemical gets injected, helping to break down phosphates
