Boyfriend arrested for shooting girlfriend to death in Murfreesboro

41-year-old Shaleem Hamilton was possibly arguing with his girlfriend, 25-year-old Rebecca Stockton Wednesday night.

After the potential argument, police found Stockton dead in the apartment living room after neighbors heard multiple gunshots.

The incident happened at the Fortress Grove Apartments on Pucket Creek Crossing.

Hamilton was eventually arrested at a gas station in Corbin, Kentucky and is charged with 1st degree murder.
