A 24-year-old man faces charges after he convinced an elderly stranger with dementia he was his son, according to warrants.
Police charged Devontae Dequarius Gaines, of Hendersonville, with obtaining property by false pretenses and exploiting a disabled or elderly person. Warrants state the offense occurred Oct. 24, 2016.
