Iran on Sunday described a blackout at its underground Natanz atomic facility an act of “nuclear terrorism,” raising regional tensions as world powers and Tehran continue to negotiate over its tattered nuclear deal.

While there was no immediate claim of responsibility, suspicion fell immediately on Israel, where its media nearly uniformly reported a devastating cyberattack orchestrated by the country caused the blackout.

There are three hotspots to watch right now in the world. Russia/Ukraine, China/Taiwan, and Israel/Iran. Of the three, 2 revolve around territorial gains. Israel/Iran is different. The SECOND that Israel is convinced that Iran has a functioning nuclear weapon, or even on the verge of creating one, they will turn Iran into a cloud of toxic vapor and a field of glass, and then have a fucking Reuben sandwich afterwards. Israel/Iran is different. The SECOND that Israel is convinced that Iran has a functioning nuclear weapon, or even on the verge of creating one, they will turn Iran into a cloud of toxic vapor and a field of glass, and then have a fucking Reuben sandwich afterwards. You won't even hear them try and justify it to anyone, either. One minute Iran will be there. The next, it won't. Period.

The problem with that is that Iran has a lot of Russian technicians onsite at the Natanz facility. Outright destroying it would piss off the Russians, Iran bought its nuclear tech from Russia.

Otherwise. that would totally be a Netanyahu thing to do. Sharon was like a scalpel, he preferred targeted assassinations of top level cameljockey nuclear technicians to stop the Iranian nuclear program. But, Netanyahu is like a bull in a china shop. he prefers military force. At any rate, it will be interesting to see how they deal with this. Iran has no business whatsoever possessing nuclear arms. Russia having boots on the ground will always be a distant second consideration to Israel, when compared to Iran having a nuke. Israel can reason with Russia. They can't reason with Iran at all. For 70 years, Islam has been calling for the annihilation of Israel. Israel won't think twice about shipping them off to the virgins in large numbers.
