Abena Appiah, the first African American to represent the United States in the Miss Grand International pageant, recently went head-to-head with 62 other beauty queens. And not only did she win the title on March 27, but she also used the worldwide stage as an opportunity to bring awareness to social justice issues.

One of the ways she did this was through a custom dress worn during the "National Costume" segment of the competition. The gown featured portraits of victims of police brutality such as Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and Akai Garley. "I am basically trying to tell people that even though there's so much corruption and hate crimes in our society if we come together as one — we can all be equal," she shares with Yahoo Life about the meaning behind the look.

All I can say is, the world was made a better place when every last one of those niggers became good. The celebration is that humanity isn't plagued by a Trayvon, a drugged-up St. George, or a drug dealer lookout on the police force.

What's this "beauty pageant" we never heard of? It's even more woke than the usual Miss Universe and Miss World.

Miss Grand International (MGI) has now become the world’s leading international beauty pageant. Under the corporation and sponsorship from governments and organizations that will make a stand for the betterment of humanity.

As can be seen presently, wars exist on many layers, from full scale confrontations between nations, to violence in the home. All of these wars must be eliminated if we are collectively to achieve true happiness. In an age where we are capable of reaching out to touch the stars, but we have forgotten to reach out and touch the lives around us, it is time for us to look inwards and use our combined ingenuity to make the world a better place fo all humanity.

Look at that nasty brillo-bush on it's head. God only knows what critters live in that thing.
It must take a lawn crew an hour to trim the jiffy-pop she has growing downstairs.
Hope they have some OSHA approved VOC respirators on when they do it.
