Three-year-old girl abandoned at Wynn Las Vegas, police search for mother

The security of the Wynn Las Vegas Resort found a 3-year-old girl inside the casino restroom, and now the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for the girls' mother.

Detectives were called to the resort on December 29 after security contacted LVMPD about the girl. Investigators believe the girl was left there by her mother.



LVMPD reports that the woman and the child took a cab to the Fashion Show Mall at around 9 a.m. The two then walked across the street to the Wynn, where the girl was abandoned.

"During the cab ride, the woman did enquire about the nearest shelter," said Lt. David Valenta of LVMPD's Special Victims Section. "However, she was last seen walking away from the Wynn Hotel."

The woman was last seen walking out of the casino northbound on S. Las Vegas Boulevard.

The woman is a black female, possibly Nigerian, in her mid-to-late 20s, approximately 5’5”, weighing approximately 125 pounds. She was wearing a blonde wig in a ponytail.
