In the 12 hours since posting a video of himself in a crystal T-shirt with a crossover Telfar Ugg logo, Telfar Clemens has garnered nearly 50,000 views, thousands of comments, and dozens of news articles heralding the news that the designer of the world’s most popular bag is collaborating with the maker of the world’s most comfortable shoe. “I like the ubiquity,” he says of the Ugg appeal. “I like that they are unisex—and I like that it’s a fashion item that is a Christmas gift for thousands of people. That’s exactly what I’m into.”
